Dr. Christian Regobeth Kofi Ahortor (Board Chairman)
Christian is the non-executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Maphlix Trust Ghana Limited. He has 20 years of working experience, made up of overlapping 14 years research experience and 9 years teaching experience. He began his career in the academia as a teacher in the Ghana Education Service to become a research assistant and later, a lecturer and economist. Christian, fellow of the Institute of Certified Economists of Ghana (ICEG) is currently the Head of Research at the Bank of Ghana. Prior to this he was a senior economist with the West African Monetary Institute (WAMI) which he as an economist in October 2009. He also worked as a principal Research Assistant with the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), University of Ghana, Legon. Christian holds PhD in Economics from University of Ibadan, Nigeria; MPhil Degree in Economics from University of Ghana, Legon; and BA (Hons) Degree in Economics from University of Cape Coast, Ghana. He is the First Vice Chairman of Glisten Strategic Solutions, Ghana. He is also the 2nd National Vice President of the Institute of Chartered Economists of Ghana (ICEG). He is also a member of Poverty and Economic Policy (PEP) Research Network, Global Development Network (GDN), African Economic Research Consortium (AERC), African Econometrics Society (AES), Global Economic Modeling Network (EcoMod), and Research Gate.
Felix Kamassah (Managing Director and Board Member)
Felix is the Managing Director of Maphlix Trust Ghana Limited. His work experience spans twelve (12) years, from being a marketer with export and import companies to becoming the Managing Director of the company. He worked as a Marketing Manager with Gate Logistics Limited, and with the UT Bank as a financial analyst. He also had worked with the West African Monetary Institute (WAMI) as a research assistant. Apart from seeing to the day to day running of Maphlix Trust Ghana Limited, he is also the Vice President of the Vegetable Producers and Exporters Association of Ghana (VEPEAG). He is also a member of COLEACP, an international body that connects producers of vegetables in the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) countries to their consumers in Europe. Felix holds Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Economics from the University of Ghana, and Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration.
Stephen Kofi Atsu Normeshie (Board Member)
Stephen has over 30 years of work experience in relation export promotion. He is the immediate General Manager of the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA). Stephen joined the then Ghana Export Promotion Council in 1995 and was tasked to set up the Internal Audit Unit of the Authority to handle not only internal audit but also human resource. Since then, he has worked with the authority and there had been a lot of improvement when it comes to financial administration at the GEPA. After completing a two-year national service at Dzodze-Penyi Secondary School in the Volta Region, where he taught accounting, he later joined the then National Industrial Company as internal auditor from 1992 to 1995 and later at the audit section of the erstwhile Value Added Tax (VAT) Service. Then after, he joined the GEPA, and worked there for over 18 years. Stephen holds a Master of Administration (MBA) Degree in Accounting from the University of Ghana, Legon and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from the University of Cape Coast. He also holds a Diploma in Business Studies from the Accra Polytechnic (now Accra Technical University).
Aloysius Attiogbe (Board Member)
Aloysius has over 20 years of work experience across various industries in many parts of Africa. He is currently the Managing Director of Start Simple Limited, a software development company. Prior to this, he served as the head of operations and maintenance and regional facilities manager for Nestle West and Central Africa Limited. Before rising to this level, he had worked as an assistant imports and exports officer with the same firm where he manages relations with external bodies: suppliers, banks, insurance companies, customs inspection companies and other agencies. He equally worked in the banking sector with Standard Chartered Bank as a sales executive. Aloysuis holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Project Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). He has also obtained certificates in Effective Negotiation and Best Procurement Practices and Project Management (Advanced Executive Certificate).
Gifty Kafui Mensah (Board Secretary)
As the secretary to the Board of Directors, Gifty Kafui Mensah has cross-cultural international exposure to business, having worked in the tourism industry for seven years. She holds Bachelor of Science (HONS) fin Marketing from the University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA) and Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). Her varied skills and industrial experiences are of great services to the Board of Maphlix Trust Ghana Limited.
